We're making the most of the summer holidays by bringing our FREE Pop Up Games to Kidderminster town centre ☀️ We know keeping the kids entertained over the holidays can soon add up, so we're really pleased to be putting on another free activity for families to enjoy 💙 On 12 & 13 August, we'll have a range of giant games and activities for children to get involved with, whether that's a quick game of Jenga, Kerplunk, Chess, Skittles or just spending a couple of hours having fun in the town centre. Here it is... after weeks of hard work in the heat, we've completely transformed the overgrown flower bed at the top of Church Street 😍 We're really proud of how it's turned out, and the difference is there for everyone to see. A huge thank you to everyone who's stopped for a chat, shared kind words or shown their support over the past few weeks. It genuinely means a lot to us and keeps us motivated to carry on improving our town centre. This transformation wouldn't have been possible without the support and collaboration of Wyre Forest District Council and Kidderminster Town Council, and we'd like to thank them for helping bring this project to life. A huge congratulations to everyone at Fitter Body Ladies Kidderminster who recently took on the Mud Run for Cancer Research UK. 👏 Together they've raised an incredible £6,000, including Gift Aid, for such an important cause. We're now just under a month away from our first big event of the year, the Kidderminster Canal & Food Festival ☀️ We've had lots of messages asking about trader spaces and how to get involved. We still have room for around 10 market stalls, so if you'd like to be part of the weekend, pop us a message and we will go from there. Please note: our food vendor spaces are now fully booked due to demand. Today we teamed up with the brilliant team from McDonald's Weavers Wharf for a community litter pick, covering not only the town centre but also Crossley Park and around Asda. Despite the hot weather, the team got stuck in and you may have spotted a few of us out in our high-vis ☀️ It's always great to come together like this, and it's fantastic to see a local business wanting to get involved and be a real champion for our community 👏 Together we collected 14 bags of litter, and it was great to hear so many positive comments from people while we were out. This Thursday is our final FREE Women's & Girls' Self-Defence Class at Russell Perks Martial Arts Academy 💙 The support and engagement for these sessions has been fantastic, and we're so grateful to everyone who has taken part.
