Backing Independent Businesses on New Road
It’s fantastic to see over £40 million being invested in buildings across Kidderminster town centre. That level of investment is hugely positive for the town and will play an important role in its long-term regeneration.
However, we also believe regeneration shouldn’t stop at the larger projects. Alongside these major developments, smaller improvements can make a real difference to the look and feel of individual streets.
With this in mind, Kidderminster Business Improvement District has teamed up with Jo and Josh from Trusted Traders to help freshen up a handful of independent businesses on New Road. The aim has been simple: to add a little more colour and character to the street while supporting the traders who help keep it vibrant.
This project is currently being run as a small trial, but the early response has been really encouraging. It’s a reminder that while large-scale investment is vital, regeneration is also about the smaller touches that help every street feel part of the town’s progress.
