The Kidderminster “Town On Tour” Project

Kidderminster’s Transformation: Join the ‘Town on Tour’ Project

Exciting changes are coming to Kidderminster, and it’s not just about how the town looks. We’re talking about the heart and soul of the community. The ‘Town on Tour’ project is here to celebrate everything that makes Kidderminster special, its arts, heritage, culture, and creativity. And we need you to be a part of it.

What is the ‘Town on Tour’ Project?

‘Town on Tour’ is all about connecting with our local community. We want to meet people who are already making a difference in their communities and those who have great ideas they’re ready to share. This project is your chance to ensure that voices from every part of Kidderminster are heard and that everyone can join in the activities happening around town.

How Can You Get Involved?

If you’re passionate about Kidderminster’s future and want to contribute, we want to hear from you. Whether you’re an individual with a great idea or part of a group already active in your area, your input is invaluable.

Why Should You Participate?

This is your opportunity to be part of something big. By participating, you’ll hear the ideas of others, share your own, and help shape the future of our town. The project will wrap up with a fantastic finale in the Town Centre, celebrating all the wonderful things we’ve accomplished together.

Who Can Join?

Everyone is welcome! We want voices from all sections of Kidderminster’s community. Whether you’ve lived here your whole life or are new to the area, your perspective is important.

Don’t miss out on this unique chance to make a difference. Get involved, share your ideas, and help us celebrate the vibrant arts, heritage, culture, and creativity that make Kidderminster special.

⚠️ Self-Defence Class Cancellation ⚠️ Unfortunately, today's free self-defence class (10:00am) has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding. We'd love to welcome you to our next free self-defence session on 27th June. Thank you for your continued support 💙

This month we have another two upcoming sessions of our FREE Women's Self-Defence Classes at Russell Perks Martial Arts Academy. Once again, we've been blown away by the support these sessions receive. It really shows just how important and valued they are within our community. 💙 We know things can be expensive at the moment, which is exactly why these sessions remain completely free to attend. They're designed to help women and girls build confidence, learn practical self-defence skills, and feel safer in everyday situations. If you've been thinking about coming along, now is the perfect opportunity. 👏 Click the link below to book your free place 👇 https://shorturl.at/oO95p #Kidderminster #Worcestershire #local #community #team #love #selfdefence #spring #FREE

It’s been a warmer one this week, and our team have been busy continuing their efforts to help make the town cleaner, safer and more welcoming for everyone. ☀️ This week we’ve been working along Bromsgrove Street and Blackwell Street, as well as across the wider town centre, removing overgrown weeds, tidying up pathways and helping to widen walkways to make them easier to use. We hope you’re all starting to notice the difference.🌱 It’s definitely been a challenge in this heat, it seemed to arrive out of nowhere! But we’re not complaining about a bit of sunshine. As always, we really appreciate everyone who stops for a chat, says hello, or shares their support. It means a lot to the team. 💙 #Kidderminster #Worcestershire #local #community #Litter #support #love #team #spring #new
