Back2House Festival Returns This July
A unique music festival that attracted visitors from across the UK and even overseas is making its return to Bewdley this July.
Back2House Events, founded by award-winning DJ and presenter Martina “DJ MJ” and percussionist Lee “Bongo” Heath, will bring the second edition of its popular Festival Weekender to Pinewood Glamping Retreat from 3rd to 5th July 2026.
Over the last four years, Back2House has built a strong following through its events, celebrating house music from across the decades while creating opportunities for both established and emerging artists. What started as local events on boats and venues around the region has grown into a recognised brand with a loyal audience.
The team is also behind Back2House Radio, a 24-hour online station launched in 2024 that now reaches listeners across the globe. Operating from a narrowboat on the Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal, the station has quickly gained momentum and now features more than 50 DJs from the UK and overseas.
Away from the festival scene, Back2House has continued to support local businesses and community projects, including helping promote Mr Tee’s Records during the reopening of its dance room and supporting community fundraising initiatives across the region.
Following the success of last year’s festival, which welcomed more than 350 attendees throughout the weekend, organisers have expanded the 2026 event to offer an even broader music experience. While house music remains at its core, festival-goers can expect a wider range of genres, alongside street food vendors, local traders and a packed programme of entertainment.
One of the biggest highlights of the weekend will be a headline performance from internationally recognised house music vocalist Kathy Brown, who will be travelling from the USA to perform. It will mark her first appearance in Worcestershire.
The event will also continue its commitment to supporting new talent, giving up-and-coming DJs the chance to perform alongside experienced artists in a festival setting.
For those looking to make a weekend of it, camping pitches are available for tents, caravans, campervans and motorhomes, creating a relaxed festival atmosphere just outside Bewdley.
With ticket sales already proving popular, organisers are expecting another successful year and are encouraging music lovers to secure their place early.
