Talbot Park Officially Opens on Worcester Street, Kidderminster
Talbot Park on Worcester Street is now officially open to the public, and it’s a fantastic addition to the town centre.
After months of work, it’s great to see the space finished and already being enjoyed by the community. The new park brings much-needed greenery into the area and creates a welcoming place for people to stop, relax, and spend more time in town.
The opening took place on Saturday, 2nd May, with a strong turnout and plenty of positive feedback from those who came along. With the sun shining, it really showed the space at its best and gave a great first impression.
The project was delivered by Wyre Forest District Council, transforming a previously unused site, following the demolition of several former retail units, into a vibrant new public space for Kidderminster.
Talbot Park is a great addition for the town, not only for residents but also for visitors and local businesses. Spaces like this help encourage more people into the town centre, supporting footfall and creating a more enjoyable experience for everyone.
If you’re in Kidderminster, it’s definitely worth taking a walk over to Worcester Street and seeing it for yourself.
