Here Comes Summer!

We’re getting ready for summer and setting out to improve the appearance of the town, with plans for fabulous new floral displays. Flowers will be arriving between June 1st and June 4th.

These are all in additional areas that are not usually covered. We are keen to see environmental improvements covering a wider area so that both businesses and visitors can benefit.

New planting includes Worcester Street, Oxford Street, Bull Ring (including the roundabout), and barrier baskets alongside the Riverside Walk restaurants. Wildflowers will be planted in the Comberton Hill to town centre centre underpass. The boxes are ready and waiting!

We have been listening to local businesses who have told us that the gateways to the town need to be improved, and we are aiming to make a real difference this year.

Missing Person appeal We’re asking our local community to come together and help locate Ebony, a 15-year-old girl who has been reported missing. Ebony was last seen in the Warndon area of Worcester on Thursday, 20 November, around 9pm. She was wearing red Hello Kitty pyjama bottoms and a light-coloured camouflage hoodie, and is believed to have other clothing with her in a bag. She is described as 15 years old, around 5ft 2", with long dark hair. She also has known links to Droitwich and Redditch. We’re urging everyone across the community to share this message, spread the word, and keep an eye out. Your support can make a real difference in helping bring her home safely. If you know where Ebony is right now, please call 999 immediately. If you have any other information that could help, please call 101

Another week, another update on our ongoing clean-up efforts. 💙 This week our BID team have been busy across town, clocking up over 40,000 steps and collecting 10 bags of litter while tackling weeds, clearing pathways, and giving well-used routes a much-needed lift. From edging overgrown pavements to cleaning road signs and refreshing business fronts, the team have been working hard to keep the town looking tidy and welcoming. 🌿 Over by the Aldi car park, we supported Wyre Forest District Council by tidying the surrounding pathways, cutting back foliage, clearing debris, and reshaping the borders to make the footpath fully accessible again. The work has already made the space feel cleaner, brighter, and easier for people to move through. We really appreciate all the support and kind words from our amazing local community. 💙 #kidderminster #Worcestershire #local #love #new #support #community #nature #town #business #growth #litter

Kidderminster Darts Supplies has officially opened on Oxford Street and it’s already becoming a popular spot. 🎯 The owners and team have done such a brilliant job with the unit, it looks great inside, and they’ve packed it with pretty much everything you could need if you’re into darts or fancy giving it a go. They’ve got so much passion for the sport and are committed to bringing the best quality dart supplies to our local community. 💙 The atmosphere today was fantastic, with loads of people popping in, and you can already tell it’s becoming a favourite on Oxford Street. Local darts player Cayden Smith Official Darts cut the ribbon today. 💙 #Kidderminster #Worcestershire #local #darts #new #support #love #town #community #business #sports
