Iit’s brilliant to see over £40 million being invested into buildings across the town. That level of commitment really does make a difference. 🙌 But at the same time, we don’t think it should stop there. So we’ve taken a small step ourselves, teaming up with Jo and Josh from Trusted Traders to freshen up a handful of independent businesses on New Road, adding colour and character while backing the traders who keep the street going. 💙 It’s only a trial, but the early response has been really encouraging. We’re excited to be launching our new Connect & Brew community group at The Garage Café ☕ And to make it even better, we’ve paid for the first 500 hot drinks, so your brew is on us. We’re offering FREE self-defence sessions for women and girls aged 10+ as part of our commitment to stand against violence toward women and young girls. 💙 After amazing feedback from our previous sessions, we knew we had to continue. There’s clearly a demand, and we want to create safe, supportive spaces where people can build confidence and learn practical skills. That’s why we’ve made five additional classes available. Our first upcoming session is this April with more sessions in the following months!
