This week, Ricky and Chris have been busy on Church Street, giving the area a well-deserved tidy-up 🌿. They’ve been tackling litter, pulling up weeds, and cleaning around business fronts and walkways, all part of our ongoing efforts to make our streets cleaner, safer, and more visually appealing. 💙 The support from local businesses and the kind words from so many of you have been amazing, thank you! While out working, they even discovered four shopping trolleys in the River Stour (now safely removed!) and gave the circular planter outside Greggs some attention too, wire-brushing between the brickwork for a fresh, sharp finish. Step by step, we’re making a visible difference together. 🌱 #Kidderminster #Worcestershire #community #support #local #love #new #events #green #gardening #cleaner #safe #plants #support

Yesterday we attended the grand opening of H E L P - Supporting People In Need, the local charity that’s been supporting homeless people in our community for many years, whether that’s through providing clothes, food, or helping people get off the streets. This new space has transformed an empty high street unit into a welcoming place that truly makes a difference. 💙 HELP continues to make a huge impact on our local community with their ongoing efforts, providing not just support, but also a hub where people can reconnect with others, build themselves back up, and find a safe, friendly space to belong. The new café space also includes a small retail offering, helping to further support their brilliant work and the people they help every day. 👏 Shazu Miah, who is Chair of HELP, was there alongside fellow trustees Jason and Fran Orboski to celebrate and show their support for this fantastic new community project. A special mention also goes to Jo, whose dedication and hard work helped make this all possible. 📍Tulip Tree Centre, Castle Road (behind tesco) #Kidderminster #worcestershire #local #love #support #events #community #new #charity #loveit
